ORION - New collection at Danish Art Weaving

Orion is a two-colour fabric consisting of 99% post-consumer recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles.
The recycled polyester is made by recycling used polyester material that would otherwise be wasted. The clear, colourless bottles are shredded into small flakes, melted into tiny pellets that are turned into yarns, which are eventually woven into textiles.
The entire recycling process results in lower CO2 emissions than the process of making new polyester fibres. Orion is also STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.
With its subtle and discrete look, Orion offers a versatile design suitable for upholstering furniture, office chairs, cushions in caravans, boats and much more.
The upholstery has high durability and excellent stretchability, making Orion versatile and easy to work with. The fabric is also washable.
The collection offers 30 colour options with strong reds, blues, greens and greys in a multitude of shades and tones, creating a harmonious mix of cold and warm colours, deep and light shades.
